Help eliminate static from the dryer starting with the rinse cycle. Add 1 cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle in place of fabric softener to prevent static.
Hang as much of your laundry as possible on a dryer rack to air dry. Place the drying rack outdoors or near a sunny window.
Place the remainder of your laundry in the dryer with a wool dryer ball. The dryer ball removes static electricity from the fabric during the drying cycle.
Remove your laundry from the dryer before it's fully dry to prevent static electricity caused by overdrying.
Hang clothing on hangers to air dry the rest of the way. Lay towels and small area rugs over the drying rack.
