Removing Water Marks From Slate

Slate’s varying textures and hues provide interesting designs in homes. Although aesthetically appealing, slate is susceptible to surface stains such as hard water marks. Cleaning or rinsing slate surfaces like countertop slabs and floor tiles with hard water and then failing to wipe them dry causes white mineral stains. These stains mar slate’s appearance, making tiles and countertops look unappealing. Remove hard water marks from slate promptly to prevent stubborn white stains.
