How to Clean Chrome With Dryer Sheets

Chrome has a decorative appeal, but it can look unsightly over time. Water spots, dust and oils can cause chrome to appear dull. Wiping the chrome with a damp washcloth, or spraying the surface with a household cleaner, does not always restore the shine. Instead of using harsh cleaners or buffing the chrome surface until your arm hurts, clean the chrome with dryer sheets. They restore the shine quickly and leave behind a temporary protective coating to keep water spots from appearing.
