How to Clean Scotchgard Overspray From Stained Wood

Scotchgard is a stain repellant that prevents stains on fabric items such as upholstery, apparel and shoes. When Scotchguard is applied, overspray can build up on other items, such as stained wood. If allowed to dry, it can leave a white film that may not come off with basic cleaners. Non-acetone nail polish remover removes the white residue without ruining the wood finish or stain when used properly. Restore richness and shine with high-quality furniture polish after cleaning.
