How to Clean a Chrome Necklace

The cleaning method is similar for all types of metals, and you can clean and polish chrome easily using a very simple ingredient.

     Dampen the chrome necklace and a soft cloth under a faucet. Cover the sink drain, if applicable, to avoid dropping the necklace down the drain.

     Sprinkle baking soda on the cloth. Rub the cloth over the necklace.

     Dampen a soft-bristle toothbrush. Use this to gently remove dirt from the crevices in the necklace.

     Rinse the necklace in warm water. Buff it dry with a soft, dry cloth.
