Instructions

    • 1

Sweep the floor immediately after installation, using a dustpan and broom, vacuum cleaner or dust mop. Use a soft-bristled broom or a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment to prevent scratching. Sweep the floor regularly to remove dust and dirt. Depending on the floor’s traffic level, this could be anywhere from once a day to once a week.

    • 2

Scrub away stubborn dirt spots with a non-abrasive all-purpose cleaner applied to a microfiber towel. Abrasive cleansers can scratch the flooring’s finish.

    • 3

Mop the floor immediately after installation and sweeping. Use a damp mop and a cleaning solution made from ½ cup white vinegar mixed with 1 gallon of water. Dry the floor immediately with a dry mop to prevent wood from absorbing moisture. Mop the floor in this fashion whenever it gets dirty, which could be anywhere from once a day to once a month.

Stick adhesive felt pads on the bottoms of furniture legs to prevent them from scratching the floor.
