Removing Odor From Walls With Vinegar

Vinegar neutralizes household odors such as smoke, mold and food. Vinegar also cuts grease, has antibacterial properties and can be safely used on most wall surfaces, with the exception of marble and other natural stone. Using vinegar on your walls cleans, sanitizes and remove odors.

Instructions

    • 1

Place a drop cloth on the floor beneath the wall you are cleaning. Pour 1 cup of white vinegar in a clean bucket.

    • 2

Add a 1/2 gallon of water to the bucket. Put on rubber gloves and safety glasses.

    • 3

Dip a clean sponge in the vinegar and water. Squeeze excess fluid out of the sponge and begin wiping down the walls.

    • 4

Allow the walls to air dry. There is no need to rinse off the solution. The vinegar odor will not last.
