Remove loose dust and dirt from the PVC tiles by wiping them off with a dry dust mop. Shake the dust mop off outside as needed and continue to dust the tiles.
Pour 1 gallon hot water in a bucket. Add 1 tablespoon of dishwashing detergent. Stir the two together to make a soapy solution.
Soak a sponge in the detergent solution and wring out the excess moisture. Scrub the tiles to remove stuck-on stains and dirt. Rinse your sponge frequently before continuing to wash the tiles.
Rinse the PVC tiles with a damp cloth to remove the detergent solution. If any stains remain, sprinkle baking soda onto the moist sponge for safe abrasiveness and scrub the stain until removed. Wipe the PVC tile with the damp cloth to remove baking soda residue.
Dry the PVC tiles with another cloth to remove moisture and add shine.
