How to Get Paint Stains Off a Corian Sink

Corian is a specific brand of sinks and countertops made by DuPont. Because Corian has a non-porous surface, it is stain resistant. Therefore, if you washed paintbrushes in your sink or dropped paint on the Corian while painting, it won't leave a permanent mark. The paint stain is temporary and should easily scrub away without resorting to any special chemicals or solvents.

• Abrasive cleaning pad

     Apply an abrasive bathroom or kitchen cleaner so that it covers the stained area.

     Scrub the area with an abrasive cleaning pad. Reapply the cleaner and scrub again to remove the rest of the stain. Do not use steel wool.

     Scrub the entire sink with the abrasive pad to blend in the finish, advises DuPont, after cleaning the stained area. Afterward, rinse the sink with water.
