How to Clean Hard Water Spots on Ubatuba Granite

Ubatuba granite, a green natural stone from Brazil known for its black, gold or blue/silver flakes and speckling, is a dense granite often used in kitchens, bathrooms, work areas and other spaces as a countertop or table surface. Typically, hard water spots form on this granite because of a lack of regular cleaning, extremely hard water or both. Although Ubatuba is scratch-resistant, it isn’t scratch proof. You can etch it or accidentally remove any sealant used by an installer on a non-polished surface if you use the wrong cleaning products. As a result, you must use gentle tools and products approved for granite surfaces to remove hard water spots.
