How to Remove a Scratch on a Black Corian Countertop

  • Soft scrubbing cleanser
  • Nylon mesh sponge
  • Clean cloths
  • Corian abrasive pad kit

Instructions

      Wet the surface of your black Corian countertop. Squirt soft cleanser on the scratch to cover it.

      Scrub the surface of the Corian with a nylon mesh sponge and the soft scrubbing cleanser to wear away the scratch.

      Wipe the countertop with a damp cloth to remove the cleanser. Dry the surface and check to see if any of the scratch remains.

      Moisten the surface of the Corian countertop again if any scratch remains. Scrub the Corian with the peach-colored pad included in the Corian abrasive pad kit. Alternately, move the pad in circular motions and then back and forth to wear away the scratch.

      Dampen a clean cloth with water. Rinse the surface of the black Corian countertop to see if the scratch is gone. If not, repeat Step 4 using the aqua blue abrasive pad first, followed by the gray abrasive pad. Scrub the countertop until the scratch is gone.

      Wipe your black Corian countertop with a damp cloth. Dry it with another cloth.
