How to Fix a Scuffed Place on Glass

Scuff marks on glass occur on high-usage surfaces, such as mirrors, sliding glass patio doors and windows. The scuff marks distort images when you look through them and also become more noticeable and distracting after you clean the glass. Clean the scuff mark thoroughly before you fix it; dirt or grit scratches the glass and worsens the scuff mark. Use the opportunity, when you fix the scuff mark, to clean the rest of the glass as well. The materials you need are household items readily available in many homes.
