Tips on Using Mop & Glo

Mop & Glo is a floor cleaner manufactured by chemical company Reckitt Benckiser and formulated for use on sealed hardwood, tile, vinyl, marble, linoleum, ceramic and no-wax floors. Used properly, Mop & Glo will leave a fresh, clean scent and a high shine on your floors. The chemicals in Mop & Glo can build up after time; if your floors begin looking dull after using this product, remove the buildup with 1/4 cup of all-purpose cleaner and 1 cup of ammonia, mixed together in 1/2 gallon of warm water. Apply to the floor and let it sit for five minutes, then mop.

     Apply Mop & Glo directly to the floor. Squeeze the bottle and apply the cleaner in an "S" shape to a 3-foot by 4-foot area of the floor.

     Soak your mop in a bucket of warm water; squeeze out the excess.

     Spread the Mop & Glo evenly with the mop in the area surrounding the "S".

     Squeeze another "S"-shaped stream of Mop & Glo adjacent to the last.

     Rinse your mop thoroughly, squeeze out the excess water and spread the cleaner evenly with the mop.

     Continue squeezing and mopping in 3-foot by 4-foot areas until the entire floor has been mopped.

     Allow the floor to dry thoroughly before walking on it.
