Sweep, dust-mop or vacuum the floor on a regular basis to remove dirt, sand and other debris that over time will scratch the surface.
Wipe up spills immediately with an absorbent rag. Then, use a wet rag to wipe away any remaining residue.
Wash the floors with a floor cleaner appropriate for limestone tile, using a mop or rag. Do not use any product with ammonia, vinegar or lemon juice, which will dull the limestone surface. Use the cleaner per manufacturer instructions and rinse the floor well. Use a nylon scrubbing pad for stubborn spills or stains and to clean along the grout line.
