Many things that people hang on walls and other surfaces leave behind glue, which creates an unattractive, sticky residue that can be hard to get rid of. You don't have to buy expensive chemicals to dissolve it. Vinegar is effective in dissolving glue, and it's an inexpensive alternative to strong chemicals. You probably already have a bottle in your kitchen cabinet.
