How to Remove Strong Smells From a Food Chopper

Food choppers minimize prep time by taking on the chore of chopping up vegetables and other foods for you so there's no need for a knife and cutting board. If you recently used your food chopper to take on something with a pungent aroma such as garlic or onions, the smell has a tendency to linger even after the food is gone. If allowed to stay, these overwhelming odors can transfer to other foods next time your food chopper is used, so eliminating them is imperative. With a few household items, this stubborn smell can be removed.
