How to Make a Rosette Pillow

A rosette pillow is an excellent way to add style and a funky DIY style to your living room. Use a rosette pillow to create texture and to add color to your couch or to any corner of your living space. Place a single discreet rosette on a corner of the pillow or glue a diagonal line of rosettes across the pillow.

Instructions

  Cut out a 5-by-5-inch felt square using a pair of scissors.

  Round off the corners and edges of the square to make a circle.

  Draw a spiral that starts in the middle of the circle and stretches out to the edge. There should be about 3/4 inch between each line in the spiral.

  Cut along the line you drew.

  Roll up the spiral, starting from the center and working your way out. This forms your rosette.

  Secure the end of the spiral strip to the body of the rosette with a dot of hot glue.

  Dab a small amount of hot glue on the bottom of the rosette and press it to a throw pillow. Place the rosette in the middle as a focal point, or create a pattern using multiple rosettes.
