Cut two squares of fabric that measure 1 foot on each side.
Place the two squares of fabric together, pattern side in.
Sew around the edges of the fabric squares, leaving a 4-inch gap along one side.
Turn the pillow right-side out through the gap.
Stuff the pillow with fiber fill. Stuff the pillow lightly for a slouchy look or stuff it fully for a firmer texture.
Tuck the raw edges of the gap into the pillow and sew it shut.
Sew four tassels to each pillow corner. Tassels are available in the upholstery section of fabric and craft stores and they come in a wide variety of sizes and colors.
