Polished marble is a hard and slippery, which means that slips and falls on such a floor can cause minor to serious injuries. However, as a responsible homeowner, there are things you can do to take the hazard out of marble floors.
- Vacuum cleaner
- 1 gallon water
- 2 tbsp. detergent
- Mop
- Resin-based anti-slip floor coating
- Paint roller pan
- Paint roller
- Extension handle

Run a vacuum cleaner across the surface of the marble floor, sucking up dust and other particles.

Combine 2 tablespoons dish detergent with 1 gallon of water in a bucket. Dip a mop in the bucket and wipe down the marble floor. Allow it to air dry.

Pour your resin-based anti-slip treatment into a paint roller pan. Attach the handle to the paint roller and dip the paint roller into the treatment.

Apply the paint roller to the floor starting at the far left corner of the room and working your way across and down the surface area of the floor. Allow it to dry overnight and then apply a second coat.
