Wash nylon curtains in the washing machine about twice a year or as necessary. Spread them out evenly around the agitator, if applicable, and wash per care label instructions. Typically, you can wash nylon curtains in cold or warm water using regular laundry detergent. Add fabric softener to the washer's softener dispenser so it disperses during the rinse cycle and reduces wrinkles. Alternatively, use a fabric dispensing ball that also releases the softener during the rinse cycle.
Dry per care instructions, but in general, you can dry nylon curtains in the the dryer using the lowest temperature setting. Use a dryer sheet to help prevent static electricity and wrinkles.
Shake out and straighten the curtains with your hands immediately after the curtains are finished drying.
Iron nylon curtains using the nylon setting on the iron, if necessary.
Dust the curtains about once a month with a microfiber cloth or electrostatic duster so the dust will adhere to the cloth or duster. Start at the top of the curtain and work your way down, being sure to get into all the folds.
Spread open a nylon shower curtain after each use to let it air-dry. You can also wipe it down with a damp rag to wash away any soap residue.
