Remove the cushions from the furniture. Unzip the cushions and remove the foam or cotton batting.
Place new cotton batting or foam inside the cushions. Push the stuffing deep into the cushion corners. Put more stuffing inside the cushions than you took out to keep them from becoming saggy too quickly.
Zip the cushions closed and plump them to distribute the stuffing equally. Put the cushions back on the furniture. Sit on the cushions to ensure they are comfortable. Add or remove the stuffing if needed to get the right thickness.
Remove cushions from the furniture and place them two at a time into the dryer. Run the cushions on air dry only for 15 minutes.
Remove the cushions from the dryer. Shake the cushions and plump them with your hands to distribute the stuffing.
Set the cushions back onto the furniture.
