How to Recondition a Nonstick Pan

If your non-stick cookware is plagued by dings and blemishes, there may still be hope for saving it. Given a tougher economy, many people are more hesitant to just throw away their non-stick pans when they become damaged. However, for safety's sake it is important to go about restoring them properly. If your cookware is flaking off bits of the coating, there is the danger of ingesting some of the finish. Rather than throw them all away, try reconditioning pans with a commercial non-stick pan repair spray.
