Instructions

    • 1

Collect every piece of the ceramic item that you can locate. This includes small slivers that you would usually vacuum up and discard. The more pieces you can find, the better the ceramic object will look when repaired.

    • 2

Reassemble the ceramic item without glue to test fit each piece and to ensure you found as many pieces as possible. Place the pieces out on the table in a logical order to help speed the assembly process. Super glue dries very quickly and does not give you much time to work.

    • 3

Apply super glue to the joining edges of the largest piece of ceramic. For example, if you are gluing a cup back together, start with the base of the cup.

    • 4

Apply glue to the edges of the piece of ceramic that joins with the first piece you selected and then press the two pieces together. Hold the pieces together for at least a minute while the glue sets.

    • 5

Repeat this for each additional part you need to glue back together. Glue the slivers last as they are the smallest pieces to glue back on.
