How to Kill Mildew in Foam Rubber

If the foam rubber item does not have significant mildew damage, a cleaning should kill the mildew. Inexpensive pillows are a common foam rubber product. Over time, perspiration left on the pillow encourages mildew growth. After cleaning your foam rubber pillow or other foam rubber item, don’t dry it in the dryer, as that can cause a fire due to the flammable nature of foam rubber.
