Pour 1 tablespoon of hand dishwashing soup, 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and 2 cups of cold water in a bowl.
Wet a white cloth with the solution. Sponge the stain with the white cloth. Every five minutes for 30 minutes, sponge more solution on the stain with a clean, white cloth.
Flush the stain with cold water and blot until the liquid has been absorbed off the furniture. If the stain persists, blot it with rubbing alcohol on a white cloth and flush the stain again with cold water.
Repeat step one, if the stain persists. Simply replace the vinegar with 1 tablespoon of ammonia. Continue with the remaining steps until the stain is gone.
