How to Get Satin Sheets to Stay on the Bed

Sleeping on satin sheets is luxurious and sensual; but the experience becomes less enjoyable when you must fight to keep the sheets on the mattress. The slippery sensation that makes satin feel so great next to your skin also makes the sheets prone to slipping off the bed. Before tumbling into your satin sheets, take a few moments to secure them to your bed so that you can enjoy a comfortable evening.

Fitted cotton sheets
Bed suspenders (two)
Shelf liner

Instructions

  Stretch a fitted cotton sheet over the mattress. Spread the fitted satin sheet over the cotton sheet.

  Turn the mattress on its side while the satin sheet is on the bed. Attach one bed suspender to one corner of the sheet and attach it to the corner situated diagonally from it. Repeat with the second suspender. When you are finished, the suspenders will form an X across the bottom of the mattress to hold the fitted sheet on the mattress.

  Lay four or five squares of shelf liner directly on the mattress. Stretch the fitted satin sheet on the bed over the shelf liner.
