Make a list of the chores that you accomplish on a weekly basis. This should include tasks that you complete each day and those that you only do once or twice per week. Write the frequency that each task needs to be performed next to it. Listing all of your chores will help you to manage your time better so that you can find time to complete each task in the necessary frequency.
Decide which chores make sense for you to do on certain days. Distribute your chores out so that you have an even workload each day. This will help you to avoid feeling overwhelmed with all of the responsibilities associated with taking care of your household. No two homemaker's schedules will be the same; it's only important that yours makes sense to you.
Divide each day of the week into a morning and an afternoon time block. Decide when you would like to do each day's allotted chores. It may help to choose an exact time that you will complete these tasks, or you can simply decide to do them in either the morning or the afternoon.
Follow your schedule each day in order to complete all of your household tasks by the end of the week. Don't be afraid to move tasks around to different days or times if you find that they aren't working for you. Scheduling your day is supposed to help make your life easier, not add complication to it.
