Hiding Shims on a Bathroom Vanity Floor

A shim is a wedge-shaped segment of wood that allows you to hold furniture items level. If one of the legs is slightly uneven or if the floor has tilted over the years, a shim allows you to hold pieces of furniture like your bathroom vanity level and to use it more easily. If you have noticed that your shim looks out of place in a tidy bathroom, however, take the time to match it to your décor, allowing you to maintain a harmonious look.
