- 8-ounce cup
- Hot water
- Iodized or sea salt
- Spoon
- Toothbrush

Fill an 8-ounce cup with hot water.

Add 2 tablespoons of iodized or sea salt to the water. Stir the mixture with a spoon to dissolve the salt.

Place a toothbrush, bristle side down, into the glass of salt water. Allow the bristles to soak in the salt water for at least one hour.

Rinse the soaked bristles in clean water. Repeat the sanitizing process as often as needed to refresh your toothbrush.
