How to Fill a Shark Steamer

  Unplug the steamer’s power cord from the electrical outlet.

  Hold down the tiger button until all the air pressure is released. Wait a minute before slowly turning the safety cap half a turn until the hissing and steam stops. Skip this step if the Shark Steamer has never been in operation.

  Turn the safety cap counterclockwise until you can remove the safety cap completely off the canister.

  Insert the end of the funnel included with the steamer into the filter hole. Pour water carefully in the funnel into the Shark's steam canister. Leave 1 inch between the water level and the top of the canister.

  Place the safety cap back on the canister and tighten by turning clockwise.
