Directions to Put in a Replacement Pump for a Grohe Soap Dispenser

Grohe, a European manufacturer of sink and bath fittings, has a line of soap dispensing systems that provide convenience and help reduce sink clutter. Soap dispensers come in various finishes, including chrome and nickel. The dispenser pump sits on the top of your sink or counter and provides soap each time it's pushed down; tubing runs from the dispenser to a refillable soap bottle hidden under the sink. If your pump breaks, you'll need to get a replacement pump from Grohe, remove the old pump and install the new one to continue using the dispenser.

Instructions

    • 1

Wipe off the pump where the soap dispenses from. Gently turn the Grohe soap pump counterclockwise until it's disconnected.

    • 2

Raise the old pump out of the base carefully. The base is where the pump sits on your sink or counter. Note the hole the straw was inserted into. A straw is connected to the pump; leave the straw on the pump.

    • 3

Insert the replacement pump into the base. Line up the pump's straw with the hole in the base and insert the straw and pump. Turn the pump clockwise until it's tightened.
