Place a mark on the wall with a pencil where the bottom middle of the oval mirror will rest. Install the mirror cleat on the wall so that the track lines up with the mark.
Turn the oval mirror over and wipe the back with a lint-free cloth to remove dust and dirt.
Open the bottle of mirror adhesive. Hold the adhesive above the back of the mirror and squeeze several vertical beads on the mirror back. Apply a 1/2-inch bead for every foot of the mirror. Keep the beads away from the edge to prevent the adhesive from squeezing out the sides of the mirror.
Grasp the sides of the oval mirror and lift it up. Carefully place the bottom middle of the oval mirror into the mirror cleat. Place the mirror backing against the wall and apply pressure to the mirror with your hands.
Allow the adhesive to cure for several hours up to several days. The adhesive requires air to cure, and the curing time will depend on the humidity level and temperature in the room.
