DIY Wax Countertop Sealant

Certain countertops require more care than others. Unlike Formica, you cannot leave granite, marble and cement countertops as is. Sealing and waxing these kinds of countertops is necessary if you want to prevent them from getting damaged and maintain a nice appearance. Acids, like vinegar and lemon juice, can harm stone and cement kitchen countertops, if not properly sealed. Food-quality wax helps the countertops stay supple and looking smooth.
