How to Hide an Insulation Hose

Instructions

    • 1

Place a Japanese shoji screen -- also known as a room divider -- in front of the insulation hose. These dividers are available in various widths and designs so you are sure to find one that will complement the room decor.

    • 2

Install a curtain rod on the ceiling in front of the insulation hose. Use ceiling-mount brackets screwed into the ceiling to keep the rod safely in place. Place a curtain with colors and designs that match the room on the rod.

    • 3

Create a box using 2-by-4s that will go around the entire length of the hose. If possible, apply the same molding that you have installed in the room around the bottom and top of the box. This will tie the box together with the look of the room.

Place a bookcase or other tall furniture in front of the hose. The furniture will help conceal the insulation hose. Leave a few inches between the back of the furniture and the hose.
