How to Get Free Heating Oil

Heating oil can be quite costly, and unfortunately many families cannot afford to pay to heat their homes every day during the cold winter months. This is why the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and some charities offer low income families grants towards the purchase of heating oil. However, not everyone is eligible to receive heating oil aid, so it is important you find out the eligibility requirement before you start filling out the paperwork.
