Drill two small holes into large plastic bottles near the mouth of the bottle. Dig a small hole into a garden bed large enough to fit the bottle in. Fill the bottle with water and screw on the lid. Place the bottle upside down into the hole to water your garden for up to several weeks.

Fill small plastic bottles half-way with water and freeze them. Use the bottles as cooling packs for lunches, coolers and any other occasion where you have to keep food cold on the go.

Clean bottles with soap and water or wash in the dishwasher. Allow the inside of the bottle to air-dry. Fill the bottles with a snack mix using a large funnel with a one-inch spout. Screw the lid back onto the container and use them for snacks in school lunches or for car trips.

Use large plastic bottles as containers for water, homemade juice, lemonade, tea and other drinks. Make sure to clean the bottles thoroughly before filling with any other liquid.

Use glass bottles for vases for flowers. Place about 3 inches of water into the bottle, and then place the flowers inside the vase. You can also fill the bottles with rocks, small shells, sand beads, marbles or moss. Place sticks inside the vases for a more modern arrangement.
