Instructions for Duracell Rechargeable Batteries

Duracell rechargeable batteries can be recharged hundreds of times and maintain 75 percent of their charge after one year of storage. While you can recharge other brands of rechargeable batteries in a Duracell charger, the company doesn't vouch for the quality or durability of those brands. Choose either alkaline or nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) Duracell batteries and recharge either type in the appropriate Duracell charger.

Instructions

    • 1

Remove the rechargeable batteries from your device whenever you want to recharge them. Wait until the batteries stop working or recharge them while they still have power; there's no negative side affect of recharging batteries that aren't fully discharged.

    • 2

Place the batteries in your charger, aligning the "+" and "-" signs as directed by the illustrations on your charger. Slide the batteries into the charger until they click in place.

    • 3

Plug the charger into an outlet. An indicator light will come on, showing the batteries are recharging.

    • 4

Leave the charger alone until the indicator light changes color, which means the batteries can be removed from the charger.

    • 5

Unplug your charger and pull the batteries out, then store the charger and replace the batteries in your device.
