How to Recycle Wood From Old Dwellings

Not only is wood a natural resource that should be conserved, it is 100 percent recyclable. To recycle wood from old dwellings, remove nails, shingles and other non-wood items so you have only lumber. Choose the donation or sale option that works best for you. Since using recycled wood for projects has become chic, you may even be paid for your efforts.
