How to Install a Gorilla Rack

Gorilla Rack is a brand of storage racks that creates durable and versatile shelving for your home storage needs. The racks have upright supports with key hole slots. The horizontal supports have rivets that align with the key hole slots and lock down into place in the slots. Shelves rest on top of the horizontal supports. Because the uprights are slotted with keyholes from top to bottom, you can create shelves at any height needed for your specific storage items.

Instructions

    • 1

Lay out all of the parts on a work surface. Separate the parts into the four vertical uprights, horizontal side supports and horizontal front and back supports.

    • 2

Place one set of horizontal supports together to form a rectangle on the work surface. You will need two side supports and one pair of front and back supports. Connect one upright support to the horizontal supports at each corner at the selected height for the bottom shelf. Align the rivet on each horizontal support with the corresponding key hole slot. Insert the rivet into the slot and tap it down into place with rubber mallet to lock it. Work your way around all of the supports to lock them into place.

    • 3

Position the other horizontal supports at each height along the uprights where a shelf is needed and lock them into place.

    • 4

Complete the rack frame by installing the last set of horizontal supports on the top ends of the uprights to create a top shelf support.

    • 5

Pivot the shelves inside of the racks and lay them over the horizontal supports at each shelf location. The supports will hold the shelves in position.
