Instructions

    • 1

Spray the perimeter of the home with pesticide to eliminate bugs from the home. Lizards eat bugs, so if there are no bugs in the home, you will not have any lizards around your home.

    • 2

Eliminate standing clutter and piles of objects strewn around the house and floor. Lizards use piles of clutter and furniture as hiding holes as they run throughout the house. Eliminate these to chase lizards away from the home. Keep furniture away from the walls as well.

Fill any holes with caulk leading to the inside of the house. Apply caulk to holes larger than one-fourth of an inch to prevent all sizes of lizards from entering.

Chase out individual lizards by tapping on the item that the lizard is hiding under or behind. By strategically tapping the walls or floor, you can cause the lizard to run out the door or into a container, such as a large plastic cup or cardboard box, which you can then dump outdoors well away from the house. You can even sweep lizards with a broom to help encourage them to exit the home.
