• One of the most traditional types of spice organizers is a wall-mounted rack. As its name implies, this organizer attaches to the wall and usually contains shelves that house the spice jars. Carousel Rack

• A carousel rack provides convenient spice organization and storage for your countertop. This freestanding rack contains slots to hold the individual spice jars. However, to make accessing the spices easier, the entire rack spins 360 degrees, so you can place it in a corner of your counter against the wall and still reach all of your spices without any trouble.

Under Cabinet Organizer

• If you are a short on a cabinet and counter space, an under cabinet organizer might work well with your spices. This type of rack is usually made of plastic, but you can also find some models in metal. The organizer mounts to the bottom of your cabinet, where it is tucked out of the way. To open the organizer, you pull on a tab at the front, and the rack opens in a downward direction so you can access your spice jars. It is one of the most-spacing saving styles of spice organizers, so it is an effective option for any small kitchen.

Drawer Inserts

• If you prefer to store your spices in a drawer, you can purchase inserts that allow you to organize them. The inserts are usually made of plastic, but you can find them with a faux wood finish to match your cabinets and drawers. They contain grooves that allow you to place several spice bottles on each insert. You can place several inserts in a single drawer, so you might be able to fit all of your spices in one drawer, depending on its size. Drawer inserts are usually adjustable, which allows them to fit in your drawer no matter what its width is.

Magnetic Organizer

• For a stylish, modern-looking organizer, consider a magnetic spice rack. You can opt for a freestanding rack made of metal that comes with individual, magnetized spice jars, or you can mount a metal strip to your wall and purchase individual magnetic spice tins to place on it. Both options have a streamlined look that adds a contemporary flair to your kitchen.
