How to Organize Playbills

Playbills are an excellent souvenir and a common collector's item for theater goers. Playbills are the show's program, where it tells you what actors are in the play, what the names of the acts are and what shows are coming to that theater. Playbills are often framed; every cover is personalized to the play. If you want to remember the shows you've seen, collecting playbills or ticket stubs is an great way to reminisce.

Instructions

    • 1

Keep playbills in a manila folder. Buy a pre-designed folder or draw on a blank folder and get creative with it.

    • 2

Place your playbills in a three-ring binder. You can purchase binder kits specifically for this purpose, or you can get a standard size binder and page protectors.

    • 3

Sort by alphabetical order. This can be done by the name of the show, the show's composer or director, the theater name or anything else.

    • 4

Sort by genre. If you like to see a variety of genres, this is a good choice.

    • 5

Sort chronologically. You can either sort by when you saw the play or you can sort by when the play started running. Another option is to sort by running shows and closed shows.
