Choose the right type of screw-in hooks based on the weight of the chairs. It’s best to choose hooks that can hold a bit more weight than what you anticipate. This will help to ensure the hook stays firmly in the wall once the chairs are in place.
Use stud finder to locate a stud in the wall near the location where you want to hang the chairs. Run the stud finder slowly over the wall until it indicates with a beep or light where a stud is located. Mark the stud with a pencil.
Drill a hole into the wall where you’ve marked the stud. Use a drill bit that is slightly smaller than the shank of the screw hook you are using.
Push the tip of the screw hook into the wall. Turn the hook clockwise until it is screwed all the way into the wall.
Hang a chair from the hook by situating the frame of the chair onto the hook. Depending on the weight of the chairs and the weight limit on the hook, you may be able to hang more than one chair on each hook.
