How to Hang Stuffed Animals in a Kid's Room

Some children manage to compile a large stuffed animal collection and often run out of room to keep them. Only so many stuffed animals can fit on the bed or on the floor. You can ask your child to sort through the animals and part with some of them; however, some children are attached to all of their stuffed animals and don't want to part with any. To free up space in your child's room, you can hang some of the stuffed animals that do not get a lot of use.

Instructions

    • 1

Measure the space needed for the toy hammock to hang and mark the corner spots on the wall with pencil. Drill a hole at each mark to allow you to insert the mounting hooks. Hang the toy hammock from the hooks and fill with stuffed animals.

    • 2

Drill a hole into the ceiling where you would like to hang the toy storage chain or rope. Twist a ceiling hook into place and hang the storage chain or rope from the hook. Use the clips or clothes pins to attach each stuffed animal to a spot on the chain or rope.

Hang a divided shoe rack over the back of your child's bedroom door. Insert smaller stuffed animals into the pockets for shoes. Smaller animals fit well and can peek out of the tops of the compartments.
