How to Hang Cooking Pot Lids Over the Kitchen Sink

Keeping your pots and pans organized becomes more difficult when you are trying to store the lids in the same cupboard, pot rack or drawer. Keep your pot lids accessible and out of the way by hanging them on the area of wall above your kitchen sink. This keeps the various lid sizes at arm's length when you are cooking and allows you to stack the pots or hang them neatly on a pot rack without worrying about the clutter of the lids.

Instructions

    • 1

Measure the length and width of the area of wall above your kitchen sink with a tape measure.

    • 2

Draw a rectangle onto a sheet of cardboard that matches the measurements of the wall. Cut it out with a utility knife. This is your template for the wall.

    • 3

Arrange the pot lids on the cardboard rectangle, the way you want to arrange them on the wall. This ensures that you place hooks in way that will leave room for all of the pots to hang.

    • 4

Peel the paper backing from as many adhesive wall hooks as you have pot lids and place them on the wall according to where the lids are laid out on the cardboard template.

    • 5

Hang the inner-lip of the pots over the hooks.
