Vacuum your microfiber sectional before any spot lifting or stain removal attempts. Use a soft bristle vacuum attachment to thoroughly vacuum all the cushions and the frame. Do this once each week as a part of regular maintenance. Removing dust, dirt and debris regularly will help prevent discoloration.
Remove any slip covers or cushion covers if possible. Wash them in cold water with a mild detergent such as Woolite, Dreft or Dove. Set the wash to a delicate cycle with a cold water wash and rinse.
Tumble covers dry on a low or air-dry setting. You can also hang them to air dry.
Mix 1 pint of warm water with a few drops of liquid detergent. Moisten a white rag with the cleaning mixture and dab it on the non-removable areas of the sectional that you need to clean.
Blot up the moisture with another clean, white towel. Repeat the dabbing and blotting until the spot is clean.
Remove as much moisture as you can by blotting with the towel. Use a hair dryer on low heat to dry the spot completely.
Restore the nap of the microfiber by gently brushing it with a soft bristle brush when it is dry.
