Your little artist may see the whole world as a canvas. Surfaces in your home can easily become marred with pen ink in a flurry of designs that only the artist can appreciate. If you find yourself dealing with a newly decorated leather sofa, it can appear like more of a challenge than it really is as leather is known to be a temperamental material to begin with. Fortunately removing ink from leather is a lot easier than you might have assumed.
- Clean soft cloths
- Isopropyl alcohol
- Leather conditioner
- Fan

Dampen a soft clean cloth or sponge with isopropyl alcohol. Wipe the stained area with the cloth to remove the stain adding more isopropyl alcohol as needed.

Use a clean damp cloth dipped in clean water and wrung out well to “rinse” the area.

Apply a leather conditioner on a separate soft clean cloth to recondition the leather, as alcohol can dry it out. Read and follow the manufacturers’ instructions carefully.

Place a fan nearby to help circulate air over the area so that it will dry quickly.
