How to Care for Wood Veneer Furniture

Natural wood veneer is commonly used in the lamination industry to cover less expensive wood, such as particleboard. Wood veneer is very durable, and varies in wood species, flexibility and thickness. Veneer furniture should be kept out of direct sunlight, and hot or cold items should not be placed on wood veneer. Wood veneer furniture requires very little maintenance, as it is cleaned much like hardwood furniture. Simple cleaning solutions are effective at cleaning wood veneer furniture.
