Test rubbing alcohol on a small, unseen area of your leather seat. Try a spot underneath, or in the back, to ensure that it won’t compromise the look of your leather. Wait 24 hours to ensure the leather is still intact.
Wipe down the area with some warm water and a clean rag to remove any dust or dirt. Use a paint scraper, or even your fingernail, to remove any pieces of paint that will come off. Allow the leather to dry.
Pour 1 cup of rubbing alcohol into a small plastic spray bottle and spray the area with the paint with a couple of squirts. Spray only on top of the paint stain, and avoid getting rubbing alcohol on other parts of the leather. Let the rubbing alcohol sit on the stain for about five minutes.
Wipe away loosened paint with a clean sponge. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until all of the paint has been removed.
Pour ½ cup of linseed oil into spray bottle and spray the area with a couple of squirts, then use a clean rag to wipe oil into the leather. This will prevent dryness. Wait about an hour, then wipe away any excess oil on the leather.
