How to Clean & Shine a Marble Table Top

Available in a wide array of colors and styles, shiny marble tabletops add a touch of luxury to any home. Marble--a calcite crystal-based rock found in mountainous areas around the world--is vulnerable to water and acid damage. Clean marble tabletops with a mild, pH-balanced detergent to avoid damaging the natural stone. Keep your marble tabletop in good condition by avoiding exposure to acids or harsh cleaners.
